- Santa Sightings
Lake Chelan is a holiday retreat for the young and young at heart. If you are coming with children, your family is in for such a treat— Santa Claus will be in town for the rest of December with a couple of friends in tow. He will be visiting a different neighborhood every Friday to bring lots of joy and presents for the good kids of Lake Chelan. But every Saturday, Santa and his crew will be hanging out at Historic Downtown Chelan. Make sure to head down and get your pictures taken with the group.

Ever wonder how people around the world celebrate the holiday season? At Lake Chelan, you don’t have to wonder anymore. A few local businesses are participating in the Lake Chelan Wine Valley community’s Holidays Around the World event. You can expect to experience cuisines and customs from different countries, including Iceland, Australia, Germany, Sweden, Japan, and more, during the occasion.

- Winter Solstice Luminary Walk
Aside from family bonding, winter is also the best season to slow down and reflect on the year’s events. It is a restorative time that can help you prepare for what is in store in 2022. Make the most out of the stillness and calm and participate in this year’s Winter Solstice Luminary Walk. This self-guided activity is on December 21, 2021. It starts at 5 pm at the Historic Downtown Chelan and ends at 8 pm at the Old Bridge.
- Holiday Fireworks
If your family enjoys big bright lights in the sky, then heading to Lake Chelan for the holidays season is a great idea. Every weekend, you can expect fireworks displays in the area. There are two places you can watch this: at Manson Bay (November 27, December 4, and December 18) and Don Morse Park (November 26, December 11, and December 31). Shows start at 6:30 pm except for the New Year’s Eve display on December 31, which will start at 9 pm.
