Come spring time in Lake Chelan, the best restaurants, wineries, and local culinary masters showcase their finest creations. This annual food and wine exhibition is billed the Lake Chelan Taste Tour. Foodies and oenophiles from various parts of the state and the country flock to the Chelan Valley to experience this month-long appreciation of local products.
The Taste Tour is organized by the Lake Chelan American Viticultural Area (AVA), an association of 30+ wineries in the southern and eastern areas surrounding the lake. Sponsors of the event include local establishments and public agencies like Sorrento’s Ristorante, Sunset Manson, and the Manson Chamber of Commerce.

When and where Taste Tour 2022 is taking place
Lake Chelan Taste Tour 2022 will be held throughout March, across four Saturdays: the 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th. The towns of Chelan and Manson will be the setting for the month-long festivity.
After selecting a date, you can choose from five distinct food and wine tours. If you choose to visit Chelan, your options are:
- Track 1: Tsillan Winery and Sorrento’s Ristorante, One Wines Inc., Vin du lac Winery, Lake Chelan Winery
- Track 2: Layla’s Bar+Kitchen, Rio Vista Wines on the River, Siren Song Winery, Sigilla Cellars
Meanwhile, tour options for Manson include:
- Track 3: Tipsy Canyon Winery, Wapato Point Cellars, Ancestry Cellars, Alta Cellars
- Track 4: Amos Rome Vineyards, Rio Vista Cabin, Chelan Ridge Winery, Sunset Manson
- Track 5: Navarre Coulee Vineyards, Skagit Cellars, Succession Wines, Rootwood Cider
How to attend the event
To sign up for Taste Tour 2022, head over to the eventbrite registration page here to schedule your visit and select the specific track you want. A ticket costs $65 and gives you access to the following:
- A gastronomic journey through four breathtaking locations around Lake Chelan.
- A unique and event-specific button which gives you special discounts at participating shops and restaurants throughout the Chelan Valley.
- A limited edition “Taste Chelan” gift bag.
Each of the four locations in each track will be open to the public at a specified time. Don’t forget to read the additional information on the ticket purchasing page before buying.
Additionally, if you wish to explore as many locations as possible, you’ll need to purchase a different ticket for each track. You can book two or more tickets on different dates to see as much of the Lake Chelan food and wine scene.
